Spring is here!
Winter season is finally over and of course, when it’s spring, it’s time for spring cleaning. It’s time to open the windows, clean out the closets, throw out things that you don’t need, rearrange the furniture and perhaps bring in a few new things.
You’re probably wondering what all this has to do with Click Kingdom.
Spring cleaning isn’t just for the home or office anymore. You can also do spring cleaning on your website.
In our previous newsletter, we discussed how the new layout and more comprehensive content of the ZENMED website have been instrumental in our affiliates’ increased sales performance. The overall look and feel of the website has helped convince more consumers to try ZENMED products while convincing existing customers to make repeat purchases.
ZENMED product descriptions are more detailed, there are bigger and clearer images of the products, and the website has several hyperlinks that a site visitor can click on to go directly to the information that he/she needs. Transferring to the page that a user wants to go to is very fast and easy.
How is your own website? Have you done any spring cleaning on it yet? Do you need to do spring cleaning?
Yes, you need to do spring cleaning on your website. This is especially true if your website has not been a very effective marketing tool for your business. You have to remember that your website is your store. It is the first thing that most of your customers will see. Your site will be the first place that they will go to, to find out more about your products. So, it is imperative that just by looking at your website, you can convince consumers to make a purchase.
How to spring clean your website?
1. Update your home page
If you’ve had the same look for about 6 months, you have to change your home page. Put in new images and new content. This not only makes your website look better, it will also help with search engine ranking. Search engines are always crawling for new content.
2. Rearrange your website
The ZENMED website says it all. The new layout and the hyperlinks that make it easier for visitors to get from one page to the other have helped greatly in the increase in conversions.
3. Highlight your Products
You have a website because you want to sell your products. Therefore, you should provide bright and clear photos of each of your product. You have to provide detailed and clear descriptions of the products that you’re selling. You have to make sure that you highlight what benefits your customers will get from your products. Again, please refer to our ZENMED website.
In order to do this, you can make use of different tools to make sure that you get the best out of your website. Since the design of your website plays a major role in a customer’s decision to buy your product or not, it is best to know what tools you can use to create a great design.
