This shows how useful Twitter can be to an affiliate marketer. While these statistics are impressive, they are only warming you up. There are more statistics he provides showing why Twitter power users are so influential. The bottom line is they are content creators. They tweet and they share things that interest them. Patel states that you have to become a power user to benefit from this audience and I agree.

When you write these articles, make use of your affiliate link in your resource box. When internet users read your article, they can click on the link from your resource box and access the product website through your affiliate link. This usually ends with a purchase and you earn income!

3. Promote affiliate links on forums in your niche

When you access certain groups and forums in your niche (e.g. health and fitness, skin care, etc.), you can promote your direct affiliate links in your signature. But you have to be careful. Some forums do not accept direct affiliate links. Take the time to read the guidelines and FAQs of each forum before you register and post. In addition to that, if you spam these forums, you will be blacklisted and people will remember that.
